We had a wasp in our house. The ceilings are very high. Izzie kept saying bug mommy bug. Olivia said mommy it will bite me. I did what any mom would do. I got the dogs in and open the doors in the playroom and hoped that the wasp would see the light. No, stupid wasp. Doesn't get it. I turn off all the lights close all the doors. Lock the playarea doors. I cut up some fruit and stick it outside the doors. I know a bit much, but that all goes with the Garcia household. The wasp flies down and we all scream and then it goes back up to the ceiling. The girls tell me to jump. Our ceiling are about 25 feet. I would need a really BIG jump. Then Olivia screams mommy there is a butterfly traped out on the porch in one of the skylights. You have got to be kidding me. I go out to the garage and get this long metal pole that has a sponge on the bottom. The 3 dogs are in the office barking and going crazy. I go outside and gently hope that the butterly will let me pick it up on the sponge. Olivia is screaming by the window mommy be careful don't hurt the butterfly. I got the butterfly on the first try and release him away from our porch. Go in and the wasp it trying to figure out how to get outside through one of the top windows. Finally give up close the back door and pick up the fruit. The girls take a nap and they want to know where the bug is. I look up and see a wasp go out the window. Have no idea how or if it is the same one. Haven't seen the wasp since. Maybe the wasp new what it was doing.
